psychoeducational assessment

A psychoeducational assessment is one-on-one and uses a variety of tools to develop a complete perspective of a child’s academic skills and cognitive abilities to assist in determining not just how much a child has learned, but how they learn and go about the task of solving problems. Psychoeducational assessment can include collecting data to assist school teams in determining eligibility for special education and gifted education school services.

Case consultation + Intervention development

Case consultation involves providing research-based guidance to parents, teachers, administrators, curriculum facilitators, and other educators, on how to best support the needs of students. Dr. Griffin believes all students are brilliant and can help parents and schools meet the needs of a variety of learners by assisting with selecting and implementing culturally appropriate research-based academic and behavioral interventions for home and school settings.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT TEAM LEADERSHIP +   CRISIS LEADERSHIP

Dr. Griffin provides dynamic leadership to school improvement teams to meet the needs of all students by considering the influence of ecological variables such as instruction, curriculum, classroom environment, and school climate on student outcomes. Her leadership involves supporting educators in the implementation of culturally appropriate multitiered services of student support and crisis preparedness and response.
